Ninah Kopel, BA IS/ B Communication (Journalism), ICS Argentina

“I left for my International Studies year abroad, excited to immerse myself in new ideas and experiences. And while Argentina definitely delivered, one year didn’t feel like nearly enough time to learn all I wanted to. But I came back with new books, music, and friends, and I still learn from them every day.“

Ninah is one of our most recent ICS students in Argentina. She attended University in Buenos Aires, completed her studies at UTS in 2017, and is set to graduate in our 25th anniversary year. She is active as a long form audio producer, having recently featured the work of historian Glenda Sluga in an episode of History Lab, which she makes through her role at 2SER.

“ICS was a first step for me, in a life and career that I hope won’t be limited by national boundaries, and certainly won’t be conventional. For that reason, and so much more, I am grateful for my International Studies experience.”
