Jill Suggate, BA IS/ B Communication (Writing and Cultural Studies), ICS Chile

“Jill’s fondest memory of the BaIS was “Eating sopaipillas and humitas with my Chilean housemates and visiting their hometowns and meeting their families all across the south of Chile. Studying the BAIS gave me a taste for languages and for living and working overseas. It solidified my interest in building an international career, and gave me greater confidence in my own resilience and adaptability.“

Upon graduation from the Bachelor of International Studies, Jill joined the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.  She has worked in the Australian High Commissions in Nauru and Ghana, and previously worked in the NGO sector.
