Dr Kiran Grewal, BA IS/ B Laws, ICS France

“I began my BA in international studies a naïve 17 year old who dreamt of working in human rights. While this dream came true, the path that took me here was much richer than I could ever have anticipated.  My BA and subsequent PhD cultivated a deep love for the lesser seen sides of France while a period of exchange in China opened my eyes to a world beyond the West.“

After completing a combined degree (Bachelor of International Studies and Law), Kiran then went on to complete a PhD in the School of International Studies.  She is now a Reader in the Department of Sociology, at Goldsmiths, University of London.
