“Choosing a single moment from my year in Costa Rica on ICS is nearly impossible as every day has brought about a new experience with new people. However, escaping the city to explore Manuel Antonio Park is a highlight. The walk brought about sloths, monkeys, toucans and peccaries with a quick nap on the beach where Jurassic Park was filmed. Costa Rica has offered an abundance of adventures that can’t be had anywhere else. The BaIS has allowed me to expand my understanding of other countries and cultures through full immersion.“

Costa Rica is our youngest Major, having been established in 2014. Alicia is currently on ICS, and will be undertaking a supplementary exchange semester in Uruguay in 2019.

“I feel more aware of the world around me and happy in the knowledge that once I graduate I will be prepared for the endless opportunities across the globe.”
